Recognizing Excellence: ELCA Laboratories Honors Winners of Best Welder and Best Welding Engineer Awards at IIW National Seminar

ELCA congratulates the winners of the ELCA Laboratories Best Welder and Best Welding Engineer Awards.
The award was presented to the winners by Kartik Iyer, CEO, at the National Welding Seminar of the IIW held at Cochin held on 13th December 2018.

The Indian Institute of Welding (IIW) organises the ‘National Skill Competition on Best Welders’ every year and ELCA Laboratories has supported this initiative every year since its inception.

Competition is for six categories, the 2018 winners of which are:
Best Structural Welder (SMAW) – Mr. Siju Joseph of Don Bosco Tech, Kochi
Best Structural Welder (GMAW) – Ms. Rasika Lokhande of Mahindra Vehicles Manufacturers, Pune
Best Pipe Welder (SMAW) – Mr. Chidapareddi of Echaar Equipments, Thane
Best Pipe Welder (GMAW) – Mr. Mithun Maiti of L&T, Kancheepuram
Best Pipe Welder (GTAW) – Mr. Shreejith P. R. of Penta Marine Engineering, Kochi
Best Welding Engineer – Mr. Pratik Gandhi of L&T, Hazira
